How to Order a Non-Traditional Credit Report

Ordering non-traditional credit reports is as simple as ordering traditional credit reports in the Avantus system.

Getting Started

  • Once you've ordered a traditional merged credit report in the Avantus system, click on the Order RMCR link under Actions to upgrade the report.

  • On the following screen, scroll down to the Special Instructions message box and type in "Process as a Non Traditional Credit Report - Fax to follow." This allows the process to remain automated.

  • Press submit to send the Non-Traditional/RMCR request.
  • Complete the Non-Traditional Credit Report Questionnaire provided to you by Avantus and fax a copy along with supporting documentation and a signed 1003 to (800) 942-9451.
  • Your request will be processed promptly by one of our mortgage analysts. Once the report has been completed you will receive an email notification. The completed report will be delivered to our website and can be retrieved by logging onto www.avantus.com
